Building on this foundation, Longboard is expanding into residential applications with two new profiles: Lap Siding & Board & Batten. These profiles reflect Longboard’s dedication to producing beautiful, durable, and sustainable products that are easy to install. While offering the timeless charm homeowners love, they also deliver the modern advantages of extruded architectural aluminum.
Products Overview
Engineered for long-lasting durability, both profiles feature a 1.5mm thickness and are crafted from premium 6063-T5 aluminum, offering exceptional resistance to denting, warping, and fading. Each new profile also comes with a 15-year limited warranty, giving general contractors and homeowners peace of mind regarding product performance and finish retention.

The initial launch includes four carefully selected standard colors:
- Old Navy – A deep, rich blue
- Shale – A solid, dark gray
- Onyx Black – A bold black with a textured finish
- Bone White – A crisp, contemporary white
Additionally, we offer custom RAL color finishes through its in-house manufacturing process, providing nearly limitless options and guaranteeing quality for designers and clients. Every finish is applied at Longboard’s state-of-the-art 350,000 sq. ft. facility, eliminating the need for on-site caulking or painting. This allows for year-round installation, regardless of weather conditions. For contractors and installers, this means lower labor costs and faster project timelines.
Both new profiles are designed for easy installation and integrate seamlessly with Longboard’s standard T&G trim and fastening components, allowing previous clients to work with familiar installation techniques while introducing new products into their projects.

Each box comes complete with 56 quick screen clips. For installations on wood or metal substrates, clients can conveniently order compatible #10 zinc plated screws directly through Longboard, simplifying the procurement process. In line with Longboard’s environmental commitment, these profiles are also available through the LongboardECO™ program, featuring a minimum of 50% recycled aluminum content.

New Pre-Release Products
Lastly, alongside the new product launch, we are also adding to our list of pre-release products.
For those unfamiliar, our Pre-Release Program offers clients the unique opportunity to engage with products in their final development stage, known as the “Beta” stage. Participants can experience and provide feedback on our latest advancements before their official release, benefiting from special pricing and enhanced client support.
Three new products are being added:
Primarily used for the Board & Batten Siding planks, along the bottom edge of an installation area. Allows for a cleaner, finish to the B&B system.
Our standard 4” & 8” Link & Lock battens with perforations of the two larger dimensioned surfaces with precut batts of acoustic insulation.
A stylish cap made for the 7" Post Wrap Product. Made from 5052 Aluminum and available in all finishes.
